Most people think of wool felts as more for appliqué and
crafts but it is such a great fabric, that it is making
'its' way into the World of Fashion.
Sophisticated fashions, tailored and casual but also
creating grunge fashions from the wool felts, the
versatility is amazing. It's easy to cut, easy to press,
does not need interlining and no lining for jackets.
It sews like a dream! You can finish the edges or leave
them and it's a stylish fabric, rich in texture and
color. It is easy to add embellishments, buttons, belts,
appliqué, beads and more. Easy to care for, no dry
cleaning is required. We will have embellishment ideas
to share.
We will have wonderful samples which include the first
two tailored jackets in Wool felts by Connie Crawford
with Fashion Patterns /Butterick. Connie absolutely
loves working with this fabric!
