Carol Bledsoe
Sew EZ Quilting / QuiltCut2
Carol began sewing at an early age. She made mostly clothing and home dec items
until she started quilting in 1994. She started taking quilting classes in 1995.
From that point on she was hooked. Her mentor is her mom who is an avid quilter.
She taught Carol that it's OK to think outside the box.

Whether you have this fabric cutting system or are thinking of purchasing one,
this class is for you. Carol Bledsoe will begin by teaching you the basics in
cutting and move on from there. You will learn how to use this versatile tool to
its full potential. A kit is available with the basic items necessary for the
class.
Kit fee $25.00 - paid at the beginning of the class to the Instructor.
Kit includes: Ruler, fabric and strip sets.
QuiltCut Owner and Prospective Buyer Class Supply Sheet
This is an opportunity for you to see the many ways that the Alto’s
QuiltCut2 Fabric Cutting System can be used for both cutting and as an aid when
piecing. Bring an open and inquisitive mind.
• QuiltCut or QuiltCut2 if you have one. If you don’t have one, systems will be
available for you to use in class
• Rotary Cutter
• Pencil
• 6”x12”, 12” square or similar ruler. It should not be any longer than 12”
• 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric in light to medium value that you don’t mind
cutting into pieces
• Cut 1 strip each of two different fabrics selvage to selvage. (Preferably one
light and one dark fabric). Strips should be anywhere between 1 ½”-2 ½” wide –
It is your choice.
- Cut off fold – You should have four strips – 2 lights and 2 darks
- Sew two strip sets combining a light and dark in each set (like you would to
make a four patch)
- Press to dark
- Bring strip sets with you to class
Most importantly bring questions about things you don’t understand or you need
help with.
You will not need a sewing machine for this class. We are
focusing on cutting only in this class. I look forward to meeting you and
guiding you through the many uses of the QuiltCut fabric cutting systems.
Feel free to call me between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm at 866-210-1472 or send an
email to Carol@sewEZquilting.com . Please include your name, phone number, the

made if you have a machine that can zigzag.
All you need extra to do this easy method at home is

Everyone tries to add a little of themselves in their
work, that is what makes it yours.
Well, I do at least try to add something that when you
see it, you stop and say ahhhhhhh! Or wow! Hand
Embroidery is that wow factor, it’s kind of been left
set aside to a certain extent to machine embroidery, but
they are worlds apart in appearance.
The subtleness of hand embroidery creates a signature
because everyone does it a bit differently, like
painting on a canvas .
This seminar you will learn different hand embroidery
stitches, which includes a chart to take with you, we
will work with perle cottons, product will be provided
to work with, everyone knows that hands on it the best
way to learn.

Everything you can do with a sweatshirt whether you see
the sweatshirt or not, it’s there somewhere.
This is the class that Barbara is known for , she has
been teaching all over the country , just when you think
you can’t do anything with that old sweatshirt , it’s
stained , maybe it has a hole in it , Maybe it’s just
ugly but you got a good price ! Whatever reason you got
stuck with those old shirts here is the answer.
This class goes over every detail in making jackets that
are just appliquéd and needle felted , to stadium
jackets that you don’t see the sweatshirts , using wools
, wool felts , cotton , old , jeans and more , to long
duster coats ( inspired by a Legend in movies and
Television ) but using sweatshirts and fabrics and
creative ideas for embellishing. And for those of you
out there that are like Barbara, and you know who you
are, “buttonhole phobics” she has alternatives to them.
Last but certainly not least, this is a wonderful class
for those who don’t, sew much, so, if you’re a novice or
if you are a seasoned sewer there is something here for
all of you.
This class introduces you into a world of using what we
have on hand, somewhere in our closets, drawers and
more.
